Kelly Preston and daughter join GOTTI: THREE GENERATIONS cast

Kelly Preston and her daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, have joined the cast of Gotti: Three Generations. Preston will play Victoria DiGiorgio, the wife of John Gotti Sr. (played by real-life husband John Travolta). Ella Bleu will play the role of their daughter, Angel Gotti. 

Earlier we reported that Barry Levinson was set to direct based on a script by Leo Rossi. Joe Pesci has been cast in the role of Gotti deputy Angelo Ruggiero and Lindsay Lohan will play Kim Gotti, the wife of John Gotti, Jr. Filming is slated to begin in New York in late fall, with a theatrical release in late 2012. 

Marc Fiore of Fiore Films is producing the film after buying the rights to Gotti's book, which focuses on Gotti Jr.'s relationship with his father, who chose to turn his back on the mob code he grew up around. The film will be shot on location in New York and is set for a 2012 release. This is the first time a member of the Gotti family agreed to tell their story on the bigscreen.

Chemistry is often an inssue for on-screen relationships, but will not be the case with this film. The casting will add a nice touch of realism to the already reportedly authentic story. What are your thoughts on this casting news?
