X-MEN: FIRST CLASS Character Trailers - Banshee, Havok & Beast

X-Men: First Class is looking like it's going to be a pretty damn good comic book adapted movie! Matthew Vaughn was the right choice to bring on this project as a director, the casting is great, and the story looks solid and interesting. As you know the film takes us back to the early day of Professor X and Magneto when they were friends.

20th Century Fox has released three character trailers that give us a better look at the characters, Banshee, Havok and Beast. Check out the videos below and tell us what you think!

Banshee is played by Caleb Landry Jones, the mutant known as Banshee is actually Sean Cassidy, whose power manifests itself in a powerful "sonic scream" that he can use as a weapon or — as you can see in the introduction trailer — a method of flight.

Havok played by by Lucas Till, who is able to generate powerful "plasma blasts" that — as you can also see in the trailer — he has difficulty controlling. He's eventually outfitted with a uniform that allows him to focus the energy he releases from the his body into a powerful beam.

Beast played by Nicholas Hoult, Beast reveals the true nature of his mutation in the above trailer, and we get a peek at the drastic changes he underwent in his early years with Charles Xavier.

The film also stars stars Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Lawrence, January Jones, Rose Byrne, Jason Flemyng, Zoë Kravitz, Oliver Platt, Ray Wise, Edi Gathegi and Álex González

Official Plot Synopsis:

X-MEN FIRST CLASS charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
