Joel Edgerton Officially Cast in Kathryn Bigelow's KILL BIN LADEN

We already knew Kathryn Bigelow was looking to cast Joel Edgerton in her next film project called Kill Bin Laden, but now it's official. This is going to end up being the first movie made based around the death of terrorist Osama bin Laden. 

Edgerton will end up playing a special ops Navy Seal. He will be joined by a few other actors who will take on the role of his team. The movie was being set up to tell the story of a previous plan to take out Bin Laden, but it ended up being an unsuccessful mission. Now that there's been a successful mission of killing the Al Qaeda leader, I assume they will end up updating the story. It will be interesting to see how they go about telling this story, especially since they already had one in place. 

Joel Edgerton is turing out to be great actor who's appeared in Animal Kingdom, and can be seen in the upcoming film Warrior with Tom Hardy, which looks like a great movie. 

The plan is to start shooting the movie this summer. There's no doubt that this movie is going to be very successful, because it's a momentous event that people want to see in action.
