Garret Dillahunt to star in COGAN'S TRADE and LOOPER

Garret Dillahunt is set to cameo in Cogan's Trade and has joined the cast of Rian Johnson's Looper. In an interview with The AV Club, Dillahunt revealed some details about the roles in this high profile films. He currenlty stars on TV's Raising Hope and has had supporting roles in No Country for Old Men, The Assassination of Jesse James, The Road and Winter’s Bone.

His role in Cogan's Trade is just going to be cameo, but it still will be cool to see in this film. Dillahunt stated that he enjoyed working with Dominik and Pitt on Jesse James, and he's looking forward to starring in Cogan's Trade. 

“Today, I’m driving from Thibodaux to New Orleans to do a little cameo in Cogan’s Trade with Brad andAndrew again, just because I’m close by. So I’m looking forward to seeing them.”

This may be a small part, but he will be appearing with some awesome actors. The cast includes Casey Affleck, James Gandolfini, Javier Bardem, Mark Ruffalo , Sam Rockwell, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Richard Jenkins, Ray Liotta, and Sam Shepherd.

He also talked a bit about his role in Looper. Here is what he had to say:

“I’m shooting a film called Looper up in Thibodaux. Cool, cool project. I’ve been here a week or so. It’sBruce Willis and Emily Blunt and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who are all actors I really like very much. It’s a sort of science-fiction tale with a lot of time travel and murder, and it’s really cool and tense and fun. I’m really happy to be a part of it.”

In Looper he stars opposite Paul Dano, Jeff Daniels and Piper Perabo. Both of these films sound pretty sweet and have pretty cool casts. I am looking forward to seeing Looper and Cogan's Trade. What are your thoughts on this news?
