Platinum Studios and Practical Pictures developing ALIEN AT LARGE into feature film

Platinum Studios announced that they are working with Practical Pictures to develop Platinum's graphic novel Alien At Large! into a feature film. Platinum CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg is a producer on the upcoming film Cowboys & Aliens. Practical Pictures partners Craig Perry and Sheila Hanahan Taylor are also producing American Reunion, for Universal. They also produced Final Destination 5, which arrives in theaters this August from Warner Bros and New Line.

Platinum currently has 5000 properties, an a number have been developed into feature films. Cowboys & Aliens arrives in theaters on July 29 by DreamWorks and Universal. I am not familiar with the source material for this film, what are your thoughts on the news?
