FAST FIVE's Sung Kang joins Stallone's upcoming action thriller

Sung Kang (Fast Five) has landed a supporting role oppsoite Sylvester Stallone in Walter Hill's upcoming action thriller. The currently untitled film is beng produced by Warner Bros. along with Dark Castle Entertainment, IM Global and After Dark Films.

The story follows Stallone's character as he teams with a young NYPD detective in a high-stakes investigation that leads from the dingy back alleys of New Orleans all the way to the power corridors of Washington, D.C. The unlikely duo, brought together by two vicious murders, take on all who stand in their way, and are willing to sacrifice everything to exact revenge.

The movie is scheduled to go into production this month in Louisianna. Walter Hill (48 Hours, Warriors, Last Man Standing, Red Heat). Kang has also starred in Ninja Assassin, Live Free or Die Hard, and the indie The Motel. He is one of my favorite characters outside of Dom and Brian in the Fast and Furious franchise.
