Edward James Olmos might play Main Baddie in DEXTER season 6

Dexter co-star C.S. Lee who plays Masuka in the incredible series recently gave an interview with TV Line in which he revealed a little more information on Edward James Olmos' character in Dexter season 6.

When it was announced that Olmos was cast, all that we knew was that he would play a brilliant, charismatic professor of religious studies. I figured he would play a big part in the new season, and I hoped that he would end up taking on a villainous role in the season. Now it looks like that he might just be doing that, which would make awesomely perfect sense. When asked about it, Lee told TV Line,

It seems to be that way. The guy is such a wonderful actor and such a presence that you would probably shoot yourself in the foot if you didn’t do that. He’s going to be great.

He goes on to talk about his own character saying,

I have a few ‘lab helpers’ coming in this year. They’re either going to help me or they’re going to get me in trouble. We’ll see what happens.

It will be amazing to see Olmos take on a sinister role in Dexter. The guy is an incredible actor, and I can see him being subtly twisted as hell.

Production on series began on May 25th, and will premiere on Showtime this fall. Dexter also stars Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, Lauren Vélez, David Zayas, and James Remar. This new season has added Colin Hanks, Mos, Molly Parker, and Billy Brown.

What do you think about the possibility of James Edward Olmos playing the main antagonist in season 6?
