Warren Beatty playing Howard Hughes and he's bringing along a great supporting cast

Earlier we reported that Warren Beatty was going to direct and star in an untitled feature for Paramount. At the time, not much was known about the projec, but Deadline is now reporting that he will play Howard Hughes and that there are a bunch of actors circling to star. The film is reportedly not a biopic, the story involves "an affair he had with a young woman in the later years of his life." Beatty has been meeting with actors like, Andrew Garfield, Alec Baldwin, Annette Bening, Shia La Beouf, Jack Nicholson, Evan Rachel Wood and Rooney Mara

Deadline reports that Beatty has been interested in playing Hughes for a long time. Baldwin ironcially played Hughes' nemesis, Pan Am World Airways founder Juan Trippe in Martin Scorsese's The Aviator. It will be interesting to see which actors end up signing on for this film. The chance to work with Beatty is one I would never turn down unless I was already booked.
