Christopher Meloni joins MAN OF STEEL cast

Christopher Meloni is currently in negotiations with Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder to star in Man of Steel, Deadline reports. Meloni recently ended his run as longtime co-star of NBC's Law & Order: SVU. It is not known which part he will play. If cast, he joins Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane in the film, which stars Henry Cavill as Superman and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. It would be interesting to see him play Lex Luthor, but I have a feeling that is not the case. What are your thoughts on this news?
