Fake TRANSFORMERS 3 Trailer Pokes Fun at Michael Bay, and also makes a Valid Point about his Films
I'm guilty of giving Michael Bay a hard time about the movies he makes, sure they look incredible and are fun as hell to watch, but they always seem to lack a solidly good script, which in my opinion is the backbone of a great film. Does it really matter though when it comes to movies like Bays? Should you or I really be complaining about his films? This new fake trailer called Transformers 3: The Master Class points out everything Bay is good at in making films, and let's face it... no one can direct a film like Michael Bay, he's got a certain style and vision that no one else can really replicate. Maybe we shouldn't hold bay to a higher standard of filmmaking, maybe we should just accept Bay for the talents that he does have and enjoy what he does with them. The the fake promo trailer points all of these things out to us in a very fun way.
The video was created by and here's what they had to say in the notes:
What is art? Is it defined by a stringent set of rules and regulations or can each be a master of their own medium? Complaining about the absence of gravitas in a film like Con Air is the same as looking at a work of Miro and saying "That sucks, it's all squiggly!". Every artist has their strengths and styles.
In other words... Terrence Malick couldn't direct a movie about exploding robots to save his life... and if he did, it'd probably take 40 years.
So pull your head out of your ass, sit down, shut up, and eat your awesome.

I'll always stand by my opinion that story is the number one key that makes for a great film, but It's ok to enjoy fun action-packed films for what they are which I do, but I still can't give Transformers 2 a pass. Enjoy the video below and tell us what you think!
