First official image from UNDERWORLD AWAKENING

Here is the first official image of Kate Beckinsale in the fourth installment of the Underworld franchise, titled Underworld Awakening (previously titled Underworld: New Dawn).

The story centers on the vampire Selene (Kate Beckinsale), who awakens after being in a 15 year coma. She soon discovers that she has a fourteen-year-old vampire/Lycan hybrid daughter, Nissa, and when she finds her, they must stop BioCom from creating super Lycans that will kill them all. 

Awakening is being directed by Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein, and also stars India Eisley and Michael Ealy. The film is set to be released on January 20th 2012. I have not seen the second or the third, so I need to really catch up here.
