A FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS Movie Could Actually Happen

Movie by Joey Paur

Yes, I know Friday Night Lights was already a movie, but it looks like the incredible TV series, which has it's final episode tonight on NBC could end up going to the big screen. This is one of my favorite TV shows of all time, if you haven't watched Friday Night Lights then you've been missing out my friends, and I'm not even a big sports guy. There are several reports saying that producer Peter Berg is interested in making a film that will continue the story Eric and Tammy Taylor, played by Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton. Who were both nominated for Emmys recently.

The editor from the site Grantland recently did a great interview with Berg and tweeted the following message...

PS: We didn’t put it in the oral history, but Peter Berg told us he wants to do an FNL movie with Chandler/Britton off the final episode.

And in case you are thinking it will never happen, think again. Multiple sources have told TV Line, "multiple sources told me it’s no pipe dream. Berg, who directed the original feature and shepherded the NBC series with exec producer Jason Katims, is working behind the scenes to make it a reality."

I would love to see this film actually happen, any fan of the show would! It's just such a fantastic series that I've really enjoyed watching over the years. What do you think about the possibility of seeing this new Friday Night Lights movie?
