SDCC 2011: New High Res Image from Spielberg’s TINTIN
Paramount Pictures has released a new images from the Peter Jackson produced, Steven Spielberg directed film The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn. We are actually sitting in Hall H right now at Comic-Con waiting for the panel to start for this movie. Steven Spielberg will be hear to talk about the film and it will be his very first appearance at Comic-Con. It will be cool to see how this film turns out!
Here's the Synopsis for the film:
The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn” is the first in the series of 3D motion capture films based on the iconic character created by Georges Remi, better known to the world by his pen name “Herge”.
The film stars Jamie Bell as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, and Daniel Craig as the nefarious Red Rackham. Bell and Craig are joined by an international cast that includes Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones and Mackenzie Crook.
The second feature in the series is scheduled to be directed by Peter Jackson, with a potential for a third film as well. Spielberg and Jackson will bring Herge’s stories to life employing state-of-the-art performance capture technology developed by Jackson’s Weta Digital.
The film comes out on December 23rd 2011.
