Nintendo fan boys, I have good news and bad news for you...us...really. The bad news is Nintendo reported a lower 1st quarter profit than expected due to the slow (understatement) sales of the 3DS...but here comes the good news!

For those of you that are looking to purchase a 3DS but don't have the scrilla to justify that pricetag, Nintendo is slashing down the price again from $249 to $169, which is an incredible drop considering I bought the device for nearly $300 at launch...WAIT WHAT THE $%@#? You mean to tell me I paid nearly double the price months ago to wait several months to play OOT, and now you're gonna do me like that Mario?

This is what Nintendo's marketing team realized most of you (including me) would say, so to make it up for those of us with the Yoshi egg on our face they are offering 10 free NES downloads and 10 free game boy advance downloads on September 1st to any 3DS owner who logs onto the Nintendo Eshop before August 12th, which is when the price drop will go in effect.

As a 3DS owner, I think it's cool they did that for me, but it's not about me...what do you think? 3DS owners? You cool with this? Anyone going to purchase after the price drop? What about before so you can snag the deal we got? Comment below!
