HBO has just released the official synopsis and July episode list for the eighth and final season of Entourage. As a huge fan of HBO and it's many cool series I am happy yet sad to share this news. There will be a total of ten episodes this season, which kicks off on July 24.

Here is the press release:

EMMY®-WINNING SERIES ENTOURAGE RETURNS FOR ITS EIGHTH AND FINAL SEASON JULY 24, EXCLUSIVELY ON HBO

Vince is back from rehab and ready for a new pet project. Super-agent Ari Gold and Mrs. Ari have separated. Following a prenup debacle with Sloan, Eric is running his own management company. Drama is shooting his animated series. And Turtle has invested in a tequila line and is starting a new business venture.

The Emmy®-winning HBO comedy series ENTOURAGE kicks off its eight-episode eighth and final season SUNDAY, JULY 24 (10:30-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO

From executive producer and creator Doug Ellin, and executive producers Stephen Levinson, Mark Wahlberg, Denis Biggs, Ally Musika and Rob Weiss, ENTOURAGE draws on the experiences of industry insiders, and stars Adrian Grenier as Vince, who is enjoying life in the limelight as a hot young actor; Kevin Connolly as Eric, Vince’s manager; Kevin Dillon as Vince’s half-brother Drama, whose own career has picked up with the animated series “Johnny’s Bananas”; Jerry Ferrara as his enterprising pal Turtle; and Golden Globe and three-time Emmy® winner Jeremy Piven as Ari, head of an entertainment-industry behemoth.

Also featured on the new episodes of ENTOURAGE are series regulars Rex Lee as Lloyd, Ari’s former assistant, who is now a full agent; Perrey Reeves as the long-suffering Mrs. Ari; and Rhys Coiro as volatile film director Billy Walsh.

Returning guest stars include Scott Caan as Scott Lavin, Eric’s management partner; Emmanuelle Chriqui as Sloan, Eric’s ex-fiancé; Beverly D’Angelo as Babs, Ari’s other partner; and Debi Mazar as Vince’s publicist Shauna. Other guests this season (some portraying themselves) include Carmelo Anthony, Melinda Clarke, Andrew Dice Clay, Kim Coates, Mark Cuban, Illeana Douglas, William Fichtner, Johnny Galecki, Rob Morrow, Alex Rodriguez, Christian Slater and Rachel Zoe.

Synopsis:

The series takes a none-too-serious look at the day-to-day life of Vince Chase (Adrian Grenier), an incandescent young Hollywood actor, and the three buddies he's brought from their hometown in Queens, NY: manager Eric (Kevin Connolly), half-brother/actor Drama (Kevin Dillon), and party pal Turtle (Jerry Ferrara). Also starring Golden Globe and three-time Emmy-winner Jeremy Piven as Ari, Vince's frenetic agent, Entourage draws on the experiences of industry insiders to illustrate the excesses of today's celebrity lifestyle, as well as the difficulty of maintaining relationships and artistic fulfillment in the show-biz fast track
