J.B. Smoove joins cast of Sacha Baron Cohen's THE DICTATOR

Movie Sacha Baron Cohen by

Actor and comedian J.B. Smoove has joined the cast of Sacha Baron Cohen's upcoming comedy The Dictator for Paramount Pictures. THR reports that Smoove will play the role of "Usher", but not much else is known about the character. The film is being directed by Larry Charles, and the majority of details about the story are being kept secret.

The film will also star Ben Kingsley, Jason Mantzoukas, and Anna Faris and tells “the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. It is inspired by the best selling novel, Zabibah and The King, by Saddam Hussein.”

Smoove is starring in We Bought A Zoo and The Sitter and s launching an original comedy website in late July called TheRuckus.com. Megan Fox and John C. Reilly will cameo in the film. I am interested in seeing this film because I thought Borat was really funny. I did not care for Bruno, but this story looks great.
