Melissa McCarthy and SUPER 8's Ryan Lee join Judd Apatow comedy

Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) and Ryan Lee (Super 8) are joining the cast of Universal’s untitled comedy project being directed and written by Judd Apatow. Earlier we reported that Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann were set to reprise their roles from Knocked Up in a new story by the writer-director-producer. The cast also includes Albert Brooks and Megan Fox.

THR reports that Lee with play the son of McCarthy's character, "a mom at the school that Rudd and Mann’s children attend." The comedy is being produced by Barry Mendel and Clayton Townsend, which at one point was working under the title This Is Forty. There are not many further character details available at this time.

I think that both McCarthy and Lee are perfect for this film. They both had breakout performances this year and are really funny, I am interested in seeing how their chemistry is on screen. What are your thoughts on this news?
