Mary-Louise Parker Get’s R.I.P.D.!

The cast for R.I.P.D. keeps getting better. The latest actress to join Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges is Mary-Louise Parker.  According to Variety "Parker would play the woman overseeing the division who explains to Reynolds' character what has happened when he dies."

It looks like Parker is picking up steam.  With her successful roles in Weeds and last year’s RED she is building up a pretty nice portfolio. 

The film is based on the Peter Lenkov comic that centers on a police force comprised of undead officers. Reynolds will play Nick Cruz, a recently slain police officer who joins the force and tries to find his own murderer. Bridges will play Roy, a veteran member of the force. The script was adapted by Phil HayandMatt Manfredi, along with Neil H. Moritz. The film is being developed by Dark Horse Entertainment and is being produced by Mike Richardson, Ryan Reynolds andJonathon Komack Martin.
