Bradley Cooper in talks for alien invasion horror thriller UMBRA?

As if we did not have enough alien invasion films landing in theaters this past year, we have another one on the horizon. Dread Central reports that Bradley Cooper is in talks to star in the horror thriller Umbra.

Cooper is reportedly up for the role of "David Underwood, an investment banker who finds himself mixed up in a major government conspiracy - one that's life changing. His world unravels when he is accidentally delivered an audio casette which reveals the government's complicity in an alien plot to breed with human chromosomes."

Umbra is to be directed by Joe Carnahan (A-Team, The Grey), based on a screenplay by Carnahan and Steven Karczynski. This will be the second time that Cooper has worked with Carnahan. He will next bee seen in Alex Proyas' Paradise Lost. No other details are available now, but we will keep you posted. This is much better news for Cooper than starring in The Crow remake, which shoud not be made. What are your thoughts on this news?
