Zoe Saldana to produce and star in DOMINION for Paramount

Zoe Saldana is bblowing up the theater this weekend with her new film Colombiana, but she has already found her next project. THR reports that she is set to produce and star in the supernatural thriller Dominion for Paramount. Not many plot details are known at this time, but the story centers "on a woman (Saldana) who is half-human, half-angel." The concept was pitched by Dean McCreary and Chester Hastings. Saldana will produce alongside Robbie Brenner (Machine Gun Preacher).

Saldana is bet known for starring in Avatar and Star Trek, recently wrapped production on The Words, a drama with Bradley Cooper. She also is attached to star opposite Mark Ruffalo in Infinitely Polar Bear, an indie drama that is being produced by J.J. Abrams.

This sounds like an interesting concept. Saldana is good in action films so she will be fine in this thriller. What are your thoughts on this casting news?
