Captain America Screenwriter wants Peter Dinklage to play MODOK

In a recent interview with The LA Times, Captain America screenwriter Christopher Markus revealed his idea of bringing Mokok into the films' sequel, and having the villain played by Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones). Of course it seems like he's the only person in the Marvel camp that wants to do it. 

I love MODOK and I think you could make a terrifying movie with MODOK but nobody seems to be on my side at the momentum.

I will win you over to Peter Dinklage as MODOK. If he came around the corner and you saw him floating there you would beterrified. It would be amazing.

In this movie, the great thing is [the visual effects and makeup team] really pulled off the Red Skull. It doesn’t look like a mask. it looks like it’s fully integrated into his flesh. And I want to see what they can do with MODOK.

I doubt this will ever happen, but it's kind of fun to think about. It would be interesting to see Modok up on the big screen, and Dinklage taking on the role would simply be awesome. But like I said, that's not going to happen. 

We previously heard that the sequel may go into the direction of The Winter Soldier saga, they are also looking at taking part of the story back to the 1940's. They are trying to fit some more of Caps World War II story into the sequel. It will be interesting to see what they come up with, and I'm looking forward to finding out more!
