This week in DVD & Blu-Ray: Prom, Sons of Anarchy: Season 3, Skateland, Madeas Big Happy Family

So here's what comes out on DVD this week! I only had time to watch one of them. Guess which one?!

First up!

Madea's Big Happy Family

Writer/director/star Tyler Perry returns as Madea, everyone's favorite wise-cracking, take-no-prisoners grandma. The next generation of Madea's family has a lot to learn, and the family matriarch is about to show them just how much. Shirley has important news to share with her five grown children, but getting everyone together is a challenge. It's up to Madea to demonstrate how it's done. There ain't nothing like family, as Madea puts it all in perspective with a hilarious twist on financial difficulties, illegal substances, and most importantly, long-buried family secrets.

Prom

A group of teenagers find their lives intersecting and their futures taking shape as they prepare for the most pivotal event of their young lives. At first Nova Prescott is infuriated at Jesse Richter, the guy who nearly destroys her plans for the perfect prom. But the closer the big day gets, the more she realizes that perhaps opposites attract. Meanwhile, the whole school hurtles towards a heartfelt date with destiny as secrets are brought to light, seemingly steady relationships unravel and new romance catches fire, There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there's only one prom!

Ok so....one of my guilty pleasures is watching high school movies. It matters not if they are bad, cheesy, awesome or whatever, I will watch all of them and in fact love them. So needless to say I loved this movie. Please don't judge me!

Skateland

A handful of teenagers find the life they've known is slipping away from them in this independent coming-of-age drama. Nineteen-year-old Ritchie Wheeler (Shiloh Fernandez) is the manager of a roller rink in a small town in East Texas.

I actually really wanted to watch this one but did not have the time. Lemme know how it was?

Sons of Anarchy: Season 3

The sins of the father come crashing down on the son in the stunning, suspense-filled Season Three of Sons of Anarchy! Chaos and confusion reign after Jax's infant son has been kidnapped and Gemma (Golden Globe winner Katey Sagal) has been framed for murder. When Abel's trail leads SAMCRO to Belfast, Ireland, secrets are revealed and the bonds of brotherhood are shattered. Jax is left reeling with more questions than answers as he struggles with the legacy of his father, the future of the club, and the fate of his family.
