First Look at Dwayne Johnson as Road Block in G.I. JOE: RETALIATION

Dwayne Johnson recently tweeted this photo of himself holding a big ass machine gun with the following tweet,

Found my gun today! M249 SAW. Guess who/what I envision in my crosshairs?

Johnson will be taking on the role of Road Block in the upcoming Jon Chu directed G.I. Joe: Retailiation movie, which is set to shoot in Louisiana later this month. The actual movie is set to hit theaters on June 29th 2012.

Johnson was a great choice to play this character. One of the first thing's I noticed in this picture is there is nothing stupidly futuristically high tech about it. If you remember in the first film everything was over the top when it came to the weaponry. This pic shows off solid good ol' fashioned ass kicking military gear. Hopefully they will stick to this when it comes to the actual movie. What do you think?
