Ed Helms set to Star in LE MAC Remake

Ed Helms (The Office, The Hangover) has signed on to star in and produce a remake of the 2010 French crime comedy Le Mac. I haven't seen or heard of the film that the movie will be based off of, but the story follows a mild-mannered banker forced to masquerade as a notorious gangster and pimp, who happens to be his twin brother. It's no surprise they wanted Helms to take on this role, it seems like a perfect fit for him. 

Ben Stiller is producing the film project through his Red Hour Films, along with the executive producer of the original film Thomas Langemann of Le Petite Reine. Bad Santa 2 screenwriter Johnny Rosenthal is also been hired to write the movie.

Gilbert Chapel is a bank employee in Paris without incident. After an accidental murder (which was staged), it is driven by the police to impersonate his twin brother Ace, a mac media mafia Marseille , he must infiltrate a blow that his boss Mendes, prepared with a Colombia said the Condor, and also meet her ....family.
