James Gandolfini headed back to HBO for BIG DEAD PLACE
James Gandolfini is headed back to HBO for a new drama. THR reports that Gandolfini is developing Big Dead Place, based on Nicholas Johnson’s memoir about his work in the U.S. Antarctic Program.
The project is being written and exec produced by Breaking Bad's Peter Gould. HBO and Gould recently teamed with on Andrew Ross Sorkin's Too Big to Fail. Gandolfini is also serving as executive producer on the project, that could be a starring vehicle for the actor.
HBO and Gandolfiini have a great working relationship together and I hope that this does become a project the actor stars in. What are your thoughts on this news?
