Richard Ayoade joins Akiva Schaffer's NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

 

Akiva Schaffer's Neighborhood Watch has gained Richard Ayoade in the role of Jamarcus in the Fox comedy. Variety reports that the British thesp and director of Submarine has taken the role that Chris Tucker was being considered for. 

Ayoade joins Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Rosemarie Dewitt. Shawn Levy is producing the film that was scripted by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The story follows "a group of concerned neighbors who form a neighborhood watch group to stop crime -- only to uncover a bigger conspiracy."

I have been wanting to see Submarine and have heard nothing but good things about The IT Crowd. What are your thoughts on this news?
