Gold Circle remaking Taiwanese supernatural thriller SILK

Gold Circle is set to remake the Taiwanese supernatural thriller Silk. THR reportst that the studio has tapped Marko King, Mary King and Jonathan Watters (Frankie & Alice) to pen the American remake of the 2006 film.

The original film tells the story of scientists who capture the ghost of a child in an apartment and the detective charged with discovering clues to the ghost's identity and demise. The new film is being re-concieved and will depart from the original’s plot. The project is described as “Michael Crichton meets The Sixth Sense.”
