AMC orders WALKING DEAD aftershow hosted by Chris Hardwick

Fans of AMC's The Walking Dead will not have their own aftershow. THR reports that the network has ordered a talk show hosted by Chris Hardwick to air after Walking Dead called Talking Dead. MTV has been doing aftershows for years, but this will be AMC's first foray into this programming.

Talkind Dead will "serve as a platform for discussion about The Walking Dead." The new show will be 30-minutes long and will premiere after the encore presentattions of the hit drama on Sunday, Oct. 16, with the first show set to air on Friday, Nov. 4, Talking Dead will air at 11 p.m and will feature Hardwick the host of G4's Web Soup with fans, actors and producers and taking questions and comments from viewers.

The show is developed by Embassy Row and is executive produced by Michael Davies along with Jen Kelly as co-executive producer. If this is successful we may see other aftershows for AMC's hit shows. I thought Hardwick did a great job moderating the Walking Dead panel at comic-con, so this should be a good show. The Walking Dead second season can't come soon enough.
