CAPTAIN AMERICA sequel likely to arrive in 2014

Not to fear, a Captain America sequel will likely arrive in theaters in 2014! Chris Evans has been doing press for Puncture and recently spoke to The Playlilst about the characters upcoming appearances on screen in Marvel's universe.

Here is what he had to say:

“They may wait until 2014 until they release the next 'Cap'. Marvel has a lot of balls in the air. They aren’t going to cannibalize their films.”

Fans will have to wait unti the previously announced Marvel release dates of May 16 or June 27, 2014 until we see Steve Rogers on screen in The Avengers. It makes sense too because even a bad-ass superhero like Cap' needs a vacation too. Evans is contracted to appear in six films altogether, so that means there will likley be three Captain America films and three Avengers films.

Evans went on to say:

“Out of those six films, if I pop up in one of those [other films], it counts as part of the deal. So if they needed me in a third 'Cap', and I say, ‘F--k you, give me $30 million,’ well, they want to avoid that.”

With six films for Marvel, Evans is allowed to star in films like Puncture, which opens this Friday. I loved seeing Captain America on screen this summer and can not wait to see The Avengers and anything coming from the Marvel's universe. What are your thoughts?
