The first trailer for the new Sam Worthington film Man On a Ledge has been released today. Worthington has made a good amount of big budget films, but he has yet to show that he's actually got some acting chops. Not sure if this will be the film, but regardless... the movie looks like a really solid and entertaining heist flick. The film also stars Jamie Bell, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Banks and Genesis Rodriguez.

Here's the synopsis for the film:

An ex-cop and now wanted fugitive stands on the ledge of a high-rise building while a hard-living New York Police Department negotiator tries to talk him down. The longer they are on the ledge, the more she realizes that he might have an ulterior objective.
