Scientists Explore The Theater of Your Mind

"Firing synapses and shit..."

Ever wonder why you forget certain parts of movies? Maybe perhaps why you forgot a certain actor was in the film you were watching? Berkeley scientists at the University of California can show you why. The following video is a computer visual representation of human brain signals as they watch clips of movies, and the results are stunning.

Researchers say this moves them one step closer to actually being able to RECORD HUMAN DREAMS! Sounds awesome when you think of it in terms of being able to read the thoughts of coma patients and such, but even more awesome when you can actually get a glimpse into the warped artsy Sundance worthy escapades that is your mind.

Watch the video and be amazed. Learn more about the research going on here.
