Movie Toy Story by

Toy Story 3's Lee Unkrich is giving fans an inside look at his next Pixar project, one day at a time. THR reports that Unkrich will be sharing a photo per day. Here is what he tweeted, “Today is day one on my next project. Every day I'll post a new photo chronicling the journey.” The first photo was posted on September 26 on his Tumblr. The image is a close-up of a Mac keyboard with the caption: “the starting line.”

This new project will be hard to top the success of Toy Story 3, which was Pixar’s highest grossing film ever, and the top grossing film of 2010. In addition, Toy Story 3 was only the third animated movie to ever earn a best picture nomination. Unkrich served as co-director on Toy Story 2, and an editor on the original Toy Story.

At this time there are no details available about the upcoming project - not a name, premise or even a character has been announced. Two new Pixar projects back in August at Disney’s D23 conference. Oscar winner Pete Docter (Up) is directing the untitled Pixar film that will take audiences inside the human brain, which is aiming for a Summer 2014 release. The untitled Dinosaur's movie wlll be directed by Pixar veteran Bob Peterson, and is aiming for a holiday 2013 release.

We will keep you posted on any further developments from Unkrich's blog. I am interested in seeing any Pixar film in development and am curious to learn what Unkrich's project is. What are your thoughts?
