Dennis Christopher to Join Tarantino's DJANGO UNCHAINED

Dennis Christopher (CSI, Deadwood) is in negotiations to join Quentin Tarantino's new spaghetti southern revenge film Django Unchained. Tarantino usually helps resurrect the careers of actors who have been in a slump and it looks like this could happen with Christopher, who's only been in one feature film in the last six years.

Jamie Foxx has taken the lead role of a slave-turned-bounty hunter who teams up with a German doctor played by Christoph Waltz to rescue his wife from a sadistic slavemaster named Calvin Candie played by Leonardo DiCaprio. If officially cast Christopher will play a character named Leo Moguy, who serves as Candie's lawyer in the story.

The Weinstein Co. is looking to release the film on Christmas Day of 2012.
