Rooney Mara could play the Female Lead in OLDBOY

Rooney Mara is really blowing up, and step by step she is proving that she has what it takes to be a leading lady in Hollywood. At this rate she'll be an Academy Award winning actress in no time. She is currently under the direction of David Fincher in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which looks insanely good, and there's no doubt her performance will plow people away.

Now it's being reported that the actress is the top choice to take on another leading female role in the remake of another foreign film... Spike Lee's Oldboy. If she ends up being offered the role and cast in the film she will join Josh Brolin and possibly Christian Bale, who's still circling the role of the villain. 

Mara would be a perfect fit for the female lead of this movie, You'll get no complaint's out of me if she's cast. You can't argue against a good looking talented actress. I hope this all works out, because it's perfect casting.

As much as I hate the idea of Oldboy getting remade, it looks like they are going to have a extremely talented cast. What are your thoughts on the possibility of Mara taking on this part?
