Seth Rogen not starring in KNOCKED UP spinoff, but will co-direct JAY AND SETH VS. THE APOCALYPSE

It looks as though fans of Knocked Up finally have their answer about Seth Rogen starring in the Judd Apatow spin-off. Movies.com is reporting that Rogen will not star in the film featuring the married couple played by Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann. Here is what Rogen had to say:

"Yeah I'm not in it, but I went to visit the set and it looked hilarious. It was a good choice, honestly, because I think it would've confused people. But I'm really looking forward to seeing it; I thought the script was unbelievably funny."

There is some good news however, Rogen gave an update on Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse. He confirmed that he'll be co-directing with writing partner Evan Goldberg, and stated "It's now much more than just Jay and Seth -- there's many other people vs. the apocalypse now. It's gonna be crazy."
