District 9‘s Sharlto Copley set to star in new Sci-Fi Film EUROPA

District 9 and The A-Team star Sharlto Copley is set to star in a new sci-fi film along side Michael Nyquist ( The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Anamaria Marinca (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days), and Daniel Wu (The Man with the Iron Fists). The film be directed by Sebastian Cordero, the Ecuadorian helmer whose credits include Rage and Cronicas.

The movie is called Euopa and it's described as a contemporary space adventure. It's "the story of a six-person team of astronauts from various international space stations who are sent by a private sector corporation to be the first manned mission to Jupiter’s fourth moon."

There isn't much more detail on the story beyond that, but it sounds like it could be cool. All we really have to go off of right now is that it will star Copley, whose been awesome in everything that he's done. What do you all think?
