Garrett Hedlund To Join Coen Brothers' INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS

Now that the Akira movie is stalled in rewrites, Garrett Hedlund has found time in his schedule. Variety reports that the Tron: Legacy actor is in talks to join Inside Llewyn Davis. Hedlund would star opposite Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, and John Goodman in the film.

The film is set during the 1960s Greenwich Village folk music scene. Story follows the title character, who's loosely based on Dave Van Ronk. The folk singer was friends with Bob Dylan and other famed musicians. At this time, Hedlund's role is not known. The actor did prove his singing chops in Country Strong opposite Gwyneth Paltrow.

I liked Hedlund in Tron and think he is a solid actor. I am one of the only ones that is looking forward to seeing Akira. The Coen Brothers are wonderful, I like all of their movies. What are your thoughts on this news?
