ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER - New Poster and Behind the Scenes Video
A fun new movie poster and behind the scenes video has been released for the highly anticipated adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's incredibly cool novel Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter! The film is being directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted), and stars Benjamin Walker as Abe Lincoln. The story focuses on the president who, after having his mother murdered by the monsters, is on a quest to rid the world of the evil vampires. The cast also includes Anthony Mackie, Jimmi Simpson, and Mary Elisabeth Winstead.
Here's the Synopsis:
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a re-imagining of the 16th President's life that depicts him as an axe-throwing, highly accomplished killer of vampires -- an obsession of his since those bloodsuckers supposedly took the life of his mother. Lincoln eventually learns that the vampires have fled to the southern states of the U.S. and are concocting a plan to conquer and enslave the entire country -- this in turn leads to the Civil War between the Union and the Confederacy, the latter of which the vampires are aligned with.
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on June 22th, 2012.
