THE AVENGERS - Weak New Poster Design

Just so you know when I first saw this poster art for The Avengers, I thought there was no way it could be an official poster because it's a terrible photoshop job of several character art that we've already seen over the months in front of some exploding gold mountain. You would think that Marvel could have come up with something a little more awesome. That's why it's hard for me to believe that it's real. What are your thoughts on this poster design?
