New Clip From THE SECRET WORLD OF ARRIETTY Arrives
A new clip from The Secret World of Arrietty has arrived thanks to our friends as /Film. The film comes from Japanese animation house Studio Ghibli and is based on Mandy Norton's young adult novel The Borrowers. Disney is set to release the film next month with a voice cast that includes Bridgit Mendler, Amy Poehler, Carol Burnett, Will Arnett, David Henrie, and Moises Arias.
Arrietty features a family of tiny people that have made their home hidden in the corners of human homes. They live a hidden life from humans. In the clip below we get to see a time when their efforts to remain hidden failed.
Synopsis:
Residing quietly beneath the floorboards are little people who live undetected in a secret world to be discovered, where the smallest may stand tallest of all. From the legendary Studio Ghibli (“Spirited Away,” “Ponyo”) comes “The Secret World of Arrietty,” an animated adventure based on Mary Norton’s acclaimed children’s book series “The Borrowers.”
The Secret World of Arrietty opens in the US on February 17. I loved seeing the trailer for this on the big screen. Ghibli continues to do a fabulous job of transporting audiences with their beautiful animation. What are your thoughts?
