The Directors from THE RAID and HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN Sign Up for V/H/S/2

I really enjoyed the found footage horror anthology film V/H/S. It's not a movie for everyone, but I thought it was a lot of fun. I'm excited to report that not only will we be getting a sequel, but The Raid director Gareth Evans, The Blair Witch Project director Eduardo Sanchez and Hobo With a Shotgun director Jason Eisener have signed on to co-write and co-direct segments of V/H/S/2Timo Tjahjanto (Macabre), Adam Wingard (You’re Next and A Horrible Way to Die), Simon Barrrett (V/H/S writer) and Sanchez’s producing partner Gregg Hale will also direct segments of the movie!

This is such an incredible line-up of directors, and I can't wait to see what stories they end up bringing us next time around! The first V/H/S film followed a group of students hired to break into a run down house to find a lost VHS tape. We ended up seeing five of those V/H/S tapes, my favorite one being the Halloween set haunted house short.

According to THR, the sequel follows a similar structure, with a pair of investigators discovering a tape while looking for a student.

As much as I like V/H/S I like Trick 'r Treat more, and I would much rather see a sequel to that film! Hopefully one day it will happen. What was your favorite story told in V/H/S? Are you excited to hear that a sequel is being made?
