J.J. Abrams Reveals First Clip from STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS!
J.J. Abrams showed up on Conan last night and brought along with him the first clip from Star Trek Into Darkness. The director explained that Paramount didn't want him to show anything, but they came to a compromise. Abrams really wanted to show something off, so they let him show three frames from the film, which is a fraction of a second long. The scene features Spock in a volcano wearing a crazy suit.
Conan makes a fun little joke about how the internet is going to go crazy over the footage and dissect it. But there's really not much to dissect. Like I said earlier, it's just Spock in a volcano wearing a crazy suit.
Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban and Anton Yelchin are all set to reprise their roles in the sequel. Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller have joined them for their latest adventure.
