Rutger Hauer joins TRUE BLOOD Season 6

Rutger Hauer (Hobo with a Shotgun, Blade Runner) is set to join the cast of HBO's True Blood for its upcoming sixth season. TV Line reports that, "Hauer will play Macklyn, a mysterious and sinister figure with deep ties to Sookie and Jason."

This is not the first blood sucking experience that Hauer has had. The Dutch actor starred in Salem's Lot, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, played Dracula in Dracula III: Legacy and Van Helsing in Dario Argento's upcoming Dracula 3D.

HBO premieres the sixth season on June of 2013. Having seen the last season, I know who Hauer will be playing and it should be pretty cool. Do you still watch True Blood?
