Christoph Waltz to Star in THE MUPPETS Sequel
Christoph Waltz is currently in talks to join the cast of Disney's sequel to The Muppets. If he ends up being cast he will play an Interpol agent.
The movie is being written by James Bobin and Nicholas Stoller, who worked on the first movie with Jason Segel who is not coming back for the sequel. Bobin will be back to direct it though as well.
The studio is looking to release the film sometime next year. I liked the first movie, and hopefully they can make an equally as entertaining sequel.
Waltz will next be seen in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. He's such a fun actor to watch, and it definitely seems like he'll fit just fine in the Muppet universe.
