Vince Vaughn to Star in Action Thriller TRIPLE TIME

Movie Vince Vaughn by Joey Paur

Vince Vaughn is teaming up with director Peter Billingsley (A Christmas Story, Couples Retreat) to make a new action thriller called Triple Time. Billingsley co-wrote the script with Michael J. Wilson.

According to Variety the story follows "a broke U.S. Marshall (Vaughn) who's tasked with escorting a prisoner accused of an environmental disaster to Washington D.C. When their transport plane explodes, the unlikely pair must work together to figure out who is behind the conspiracy, which might include one of them."

Apparently, the reason Vaughn took the role is because he's looking to start doing movies outside of comedy, which he's best known for. His dramatic roles in the past have always kind of fell flat. The last movie we saw Vaughn in was The Watch, and he also stars in a couple other upcoming films -- The Internship and The Delivery Man.

I think it's great that Vaughn is trying something new, hopefully it turns out better than some of his past non-comedic work. Do you think this will be a good project for him to take on?
