Boring Teaser Poster for WORLD WAR Z
Honestly, what's the point of releasing a teaser poster if it does nothing to get you excited about the film? We already know the title of the film, and who stars in it. Why not provide fans with something a little more awesome? I mean hell, it doesn't even tease anything.
The first footage for the film was recently released, and I liked what I saw from that. The swarm of zombies was unlike anything I've seen before, that got me a little excited. I'm looking forward to the trailer that will be released on Thursday, but this teaser poster is bull crap.
The movie is set to be released on June 21st, 2013, and it stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox and David Morse.
Based on Max Brooks' best-selling novel World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, the story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry's wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.
I also just want to make a note, that the movie is going to be nothing like the book. I think the only common ground they share is the title and the zombies.
