Trailer for GET THE GRINGO Starring Mel Gibson
Here is the trailer for Mel Gibson's return to the action genre, Get The Gringo. Adrian Grunberg directed the action film, which was initially titled How I Spent My Summer Vacation. The film also stars Peter Stormare.
Synopsis:
Gibson plays Driver, who, during a high-speed car chase with the U.S. Border Patrol and a bleeding body in his back seat, crashes into the border wall as he tries to escape. He survives, only to be placed inside a hard-core Mexican prison where he enters the strange and dangerous world of “El Pueblito.” There, he finds unlikely survival guidance from a 10-year-old kid who shows him the ropes.
Deadline reports that Get the Gringo will debut on DirectTV on May 1st for $10.99. Fox has an expanded roll-out of the action film to follow. I will always be a fan of Gibson, having grown up with him as Mad Max and in the Lethal Weapon movies. I am loooking forward to seeing him back on screen kicking ass.
