LEGO Millennium Falcon CGI Stop Motion Assembly - 3 Years in the Making

What have you been doing the last three years? Me personally... I've been raising kids, I've gone through 3 different jobs, and I've been building up the GeekTyrant empire. During that time LEGO and Star Wars enthusiast Francisco Prieto has been building this incredible looking Millennium Falcon made out of 10179 LEGO bricks. He did this just to see how it would all go together so that he could then create a CGI recreation of how he built it. He modeled all of the 5,195 Lego bricks in his computer, and then went through the torture of rebuilding it again on his computer to create this video.

Assembly of the Lego set 10179 from Star Wars Ultimate collector series in stop motion in 3d. Created using 3ds max and V-ray. A very long work over 3 years, modelling all the pieces by myself. and rendered frame by frame.

Check out the video below, and let us know what you wish you had been doing over the last 3 years.
