Joss Whedon Thinks Iron Man's Triangle Is "Ass"
In a recent interview with Empire for his upcoming horror film Cabin in The Woods, director Joss Whedon took a little time to talk about his other big film, The Avengers.
When asked about the fan reaction to the change in Iron Man's suit. He confirmed that he did change the suit Iron Man wears, and did so with permission from Marvel. Here is what he told Empire:
Tony Stark's suit seems to be going through a few iterations in the movie, a development that Whedon wrily attributes to "wear and tear". "Marvel said, 'We like to see the suits evolve,' and I said, Great! Then you're going back to the circle because the triangle is ass'. I'm a classicist. The circle has meaning, the triangle does not.
You can watch the video interview below. From the trailers that we have seen, Whedon is taking The Avengers to a whole new level. His passion for this project is infectious. I fully trust what he is doing. Let us know what you think about Iron Man's suit preference.
