PACIFIC RIM, 300 Sequel, and THE HANGOVER III Get Release Dates

Warner Bros. has announced release dates for three big films that they're developing. 

Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim has been rescheduled for release on July 12th, 2013. The story is set in a future in which malevolent creatures threaten the earth, and the planet must band together and use highly advanced technology to eradicate the growing menace. It stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi, Max Martini, Willem Dafoe, Robert Kazinsky, Clifton Collins Jr., Diego Klattenhoff, and Ron Perlman.

300: The Battle of Artemisium has been set to be released on August 2nd, 2013. The movie is being directed by Noam Murro and stars Rodrigo Santoro, Eva Green, Sullivan Stapleton, and Jamie Blackley. The movie is a sequel to Zack Snyder's 300, and follows the Persian king-god Xerxes as he leads "an army against Greek forces, who have little training but are under the guidance of a general named Themistokles. (The giant battle at the center of this movie is supposed to occur at the same time as the fighting in 300.)"

The Hangover Part III will be released on on May 24th, 2012. There are no details on the the story for the film or where it will take place, but the usual suspects will return to reprise their roles.
